Indonesian national flag carrier, Garuda Indonesia, has launched tour agency Garuda Orient Holidays (GOH) in Hong Kong.
This move was made in conjunction with the airline's recent introduction of daily direct flights between Hong Kong and Bali on the Boeing 737-800, and twice-daily flights on the Airbus A330-200 to Jakarta.
“As Garuda undergoes a historic transformation and modernisation, our new package tour operation is committed to supporting both Indonesian tourism and this new era for the airline,” said Garuda Indonesia executive vice-president of marketing and sales Muhammad Arif Wibowo.
The tour agency develops travel packages to various Indonesian destinations, and has established branches in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Japan, with Hong Kong being the latest one to join their network.
