SilkAir (MI), Singapore Airlines’ subsidiary, will launch new services to Bandung and Changsha in October.
On October 11, MI rolls out thrice-weekly services to Bandung, operating on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays using an Airbus A319. The flight will depart Singapore at 1555, arriving in Bandung at 1650, and the return leg will depart at 1735, arriving back in Singapore at 2025.
From October 30 onwards, the frequency on this route will be increased to five times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight will depart at 1600, arriving in Bandung at 1650, while the return leg will operate according to the same schedule above.
On October 31, thrice-weekly flights to Changsha kick off. These will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays using an A320 aircraft. The flight departs Singapore at 1245, arriving in Changsha at 1720, and the return leg wil depart at 1815, arriving back in the Lion City at 2300.
Bandung and Changsha represent the carrier’s 37th and 38th destinations.
