Tiger Airways announced the launch of thrice weekly direct flights between Singapore and Davao from November 1, 2011.
Davao, the second largest city in the Philippines, is the carrier’s third destination within the archipelago after Manila and Cebu.
The flights will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. On Tuesday, Tiger Airways will depart Singapore at 1500, arriving in Davao at 1845, while the return leg will depart at 1945, arriving back in Singapore at 2340.
On Thurday, the flight will depart at 1350, arriving in Davao at 1845, while the return leg timings will remain the same as the above.
On Sundays, the flight departs Singapore at 1645, arriving in Davao at 2035. The return leg will depart at 2105, arriving back in Singapore at 0045.
The low-cost carrier is offering a promotional fare to inaugurate the new service starting at US$49 for a one-way ticket for travel between November 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012.
