Low-cost carrier Easyjet is to fly between Jersey and Scotland for the first time, with a three-times weekly service to Glasgow International operating between June and September.
The new service will depart Glasgow on Tuesdays at 0900, Thursdays at 1650 and Saturdays at 1400, with the return leg departing Jersey at 1105 on Tuesdays, 1855 on Thursdays and 1605 on Saturdays.
According to rival Flybe’s website the carrier operates flights from Jersey to Scottish destinations including Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Inverness, Glasgow Prestwick and Glasgow International airports, although several of these services are also seasonal.
Easyjet already offers a daily year-round service between Jersey and Liverpool.
