Low-cost carrier Airphil Express is working with Chartis Philippines Insurance to offer passengers a range of travel insurance products under the banner "Worry-Free Travel". The budget affiliate of Philippine Airlines will be going regional on October 27, 2010 with daily flights to Singapore as part of a bigger expansion plan (see news).
The packages, which refer to all of the airline's point-to-point services, is available for passengers booking online at rates from P220 (US$5). The coverage includes losing travel documents or accidents during the journey and applies to domestic routes and flights to Singapore only if tickets are purchased in the Philippines.
