The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has developed a new mobile application to make communicating easier during visits to the Kingdom. The app is available for the iPhone and in WAP version for other phones.
The application, called "SpeakThai", offers users 2,500 useful words in Thai stored under different categories or within different circumstances in order to aid conversation between visitors and locals.
Available in five different languages – English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French and Japanese – the application can be downloaded for free from smart phone application stores.
