Malaysia Airlines (MAS) adds its sixth Indonesian destination, flying daily to Bandung in Indonesia from July 16, 2010.
The carrier currently shuttles between Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta, Bali, Medan, Surabaya and Yogjakarta, with Jakarta registering the most services at 40 weekly.
Bandung, the capital of West Java province and Indonesia's third largest city, features an economy built largely upon tourism, manufacturing, textile and apparel, education institutions and technology.
To kick start sales, MAS is offering promotional fares starting from MYR181 (US$55) one way all inclusive until June 28. These are for travel between July 16 and December 31.
Recently, MAS also announced new services to Seoul from July 19 (see news).
