Passengers, who purchase Air China international e-tickets with travel originating from Hongkong, are now able to check in and print boarding passes online on the carrier’s website www.airchina.hk
The new service, which also allows passengers to choose their seats, can be availed of one day before departure. The website is presented in three versions: English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
Meanwhile, the airline has just opened a premium lounge, designed to Star Alliance standards, at Guangzhou’s Baiyun International Airport. It covers an area of 1,000sqm, the largest facility of its type at the airport. It accommodates 165 passengers, who can make use of the changing rooms, shower facilities, smoking area, food and beverage section and internet zone among other amenities.
Currently eight Star Alliance member fly into Baiyun Airport: Air China, Shanghai Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, ANA, THAI Airways, Egypt Air and Asiana Airlines.
