Seoul arrivals get latest news

6 Feb 2010

Business travellers arriving at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport can now receive the latest news updates before they leave the arrivals hall.

South Korea’s major news agency Yonhap is now using three 52-inch LCD screens to display its major news content in the baggage claims area of the airport.

News will be displayed in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese. The screens will also display flight information and airport announcements.

Incheon airport has also added a brand new pedestrian overpass linking the airport with the International Business Center (IBC) area. Previously, the only connection between the passenger terminal and the IBC was by shuttle bus or car.

The IBC houses hotels, such as the Hyatt Regency Incheon and Best Western, apartments and offices.
