Tourism Authority of Thailand welcomes enquiries with internet hotline

5 Dec 2009

The Tourism Authority of Thailand has made it easier for visitors to obtain information or lodge a complaint. The recently launched Internet Call Centre provides 24-hour help in English and Thai and responds to internet inquiry or video live chat.

Tourists can log onto www.tourismthailand.org and click on the “1672 tourist hotline” icon on the lower right-hand side of the web page. After selecting the language, they will be asked to fill in basic details such as their name and email address. Categories of interest cover accommodation, travel through the Kingdom, sight-seeing and seasons. There is also a category to raise a gripe.

Responses will be sent as soon as possible, depending on the kind of information required and the time needed to compile and verify it.
