Four-star hotel brand Barcelo Hotel has launched a loyalty programme for guests at any of its 21 properties across the UK.
Members earn one point for each night stayed at a Barcelo UK hotel, which can then be redeemed for Barcelo UK hotel vouchers or Bonus Bond shopping vouchers, which can be redeemed at 25,000 places in the UK including Argos, Boots, Debenhams, Iceland and WHSmith. Redemption rates are as follows:
Ten nights’ stay at a Barcelo UK hotel earns a £10 shopping voucher or a £15 Barcelo UK gift voucher
20, 30 or 40 nights’ stay earns a £20, £30 or £40 shopping voucher or a £30, £40, or £50 Barcelo UK gift voucher
50 nights’ stay earns a £50 shopping voucher or a £70 Barcelo UK gift voucher
51 nights’ stay in one year earns a £100 Barcelo UK gift voucher
Barcelo says it will also feature special promotions where guests can earn double points “from time to time”.
Barcelo UK was formed in 2007 when Barcelo Hotels and Resorts established a 45-year lease to manage the properties formerly under the Paramount Hotels brand. Barcelo properties in the UK include The Lygon Arms in the Cotswolds and Troon Marine Hotel in Scotland.
