OFFERS
• Scandinavian Airlines in Thailand has launched special prices of THB69,000 (US$2,040) for Business Class return and THB49,000 return (US$1,448) for Economy Extra Class to 36 European cities until October 5. Travel dates are between today, September 20 until January 31, 2010, including Christmas and New Year.
The Eurobonus points are 200 percent for Business Class and 150 percent for Economy Extra Class.

• KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is now offering the new Economy Comfort zone on intercontinental flights. This seat product offers up to 10cm more legroom and back supports that can recline twice as far. Passengers can disembark quicker upon landing since the area is located at the front of the existing Economy Class.
Depending on the distances involved, the Comfort zone costs between E80 (US$117.69) and E150 (US$220.68) for a single leg of the journey. Flying Blue Platinum members and passengers travelling on full-flex Economy Class ticket can book these seats without a surcharge. Flying Blue Gold members can enjoy a 50 percent discount and Flying Blue Silver members get 25 percent.
• Virgin Blue Group’s new international airline V Australia and Emirates Airlines of Dubai will be code sharing on the trans-Tasman route from October 25, 2009.
The new agreement provides V Australia passengers quick transits from the airline’s international flights (from Los Angeles) arriving in Sydney to New Zealand, as well as allowing them to easily transfer to Emirates’ wide-bodied Being B777 and Airbus A380 aircraft.
V Australia plans to fly to Phuket from Brisbane and Melbourne in November.
