Zest Air to fly between Hongkong and Clark

Zest Air begins regional expansion with its first international service this month.

Starting on September 21, the airline's daily flight to Hongkong will take off from Diosdado Macapagal International Airport in Clark, Pampanga in northern Philippines. The airline will be using its first brand-new, single-aisle Airbus A320 aircraft delivered two months ago.

The airline's Z2 083 flight is scheduled to leave Clark at 1550 arriving at 1720 in the Chinese territory. The return Z2 084 flight is set to take off at 1840 landing in Clark at 2030.

To mark the opening of its first international route, Zest Air is offering a one-way fare starting from Php2,158 (US$44.28) valid for travel from September 21 until further notice.

After Hongkong, Zest Air is expected to introduce flights to Shanghai, South Korea, Japan and Singapore.

Currently, the airline serves 20 domestic routes in the Philippines, including Boracay, Cebu, Manila and Puerto Princesa among others.
