Jet opens Delhi-Hongkong route

India’s Jet Airways is to start direct flights from New Delhi to Hongkong from September 30.

The route will be Jet’s second into Hongkong, it already operates a Hongkong-Mumbai service.

Jet will use an Airbus 330-200 on the route.

From September 30 to October 24, 2009 and from March 28, 2010 to October 30, 2010, flight 9W 72 will depart Delhi at 2250 hrs, arriving in Hong Kong at 0705 hrs. Flight 9W71 will then depart Hong Kong at 1330, arriving in Delhi at 1650.

From October 25, 2009 to March 27, 2010, flight 9W72 will depart Delhi at 2325, arriving in Hong Kong at 0700. Flight 9W71 will then depart Hong Kong at 1330, arriving in Delhi at 1720.
