Marco Polo to open hotel in Jinjiang

Marco Polo Hotels has been tapped to manage a new property in China's Fujian Province – The Marco Polo Jinjiang, the city's first international hotel.

Jinjiang is known for its strong manufacturing industry.

The 290-room property will open next year and include the chain's signature Continental Club Floor as well as two ballrooms and seven functions rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, health spa, gym and four F&B outlets.

Together with the new Fujian property, the chain has a total of four hotels currently in development. The other hotels are located in Changzhou, Chengdu and Wuxi.

To date, there are Marco Polo hotels in Beijing, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Xiamen and Hongkong as well as in the Philippine provinces of Davao and Cebu.
