Travel between January and July next year is the focus of AirAsia’s latest fare bonanza, “Big Sale”.
The regional promotion is available from the low-cost carrier’s eight hubs – Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bali and Bandung – stretching across 20 countries and over 130 routes. The travel period is between January 11 and July 31, 2010.
From Kuala Lumpur, AirAsia’s home base, customers can fly one way to domestic destinations such as Penang and Johor Bahru from MYR9 (US$2.57). And going further, they can fly to Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bangkok and Phuket from MYR49 (US$14) and the popular Gold Coast, Melbourne and Perth from MYR149 (US$42) or to London from MYR479 (US$136). The only surcharge is the airport tax.
Bookings for domestic flights are until August 16, 2009 and for international flights, from August 11 to 16, 2009.
