Frasers Hospitality has opened a new property in Vietnam’s second largest city. The 170-apartment Fraser Suites Hanoi is situated in the Westlake district and offers one, two and three bedroom residences.
Leisure facilities include a swimming pool and gym. There are also meeting rooms, which have views over landscaped gardens. The property also has a café, with a restaurant located in the adjacent shopping centre.
All apartments have separate living, dining, and bedroom areas, plus fully equipped kitchens. They also feature home theatre systems with LCD televisions. Wireless and broadband internet access are also available.
Mr. Lim Ee Seng, chief executive of Frasers Centrepoint (Frasers Hospitality’s parent company), said: “The opening of Fraser Suites Hanoi marks an important milestone in our foray into the service apartment market in Vietnam.”
The company currently has more than 4,800 apartments in its portfolio, with another 3,000 apartments in the pipeline.
The Frasers Suites property in Hanoi follows the launch of the company’s new brand, Modena (see online news July 17) and the opening of Frasers suites Edinburgh (see online news May 15). The company also opened a 91-apartment property in Bahrain and a second property in Bangkok.
Meanwhile, Hanoi is proving a popular location for new international hotel openings, with Marriott recently announcing a third hotel in the city and Accor renovating its Sofitel Metropole Hanoi property (see online news July 23).
