South Korean budget carrier Jin Air has announced the launch of five international routes by January 2010.
Inaugural flights on the Incheon-Bangkok and Incheon-Macau routes will operate on October 29.
The Bangkok flights will be offered daily, leaving Seoul Incheon at 8am. The morning service will complement the existing evening Incheon-Bangkok service by Korean Air and Asiana Airlines, and a 10am service by THAI Airways on the same route.
The Incheon-Macau service will be available four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Tickets can be booked through travel agencies starting August and on Jin Air’s website from September 1.
Other routes to be served by Jin Air include Osaka and Wuhan from December (both a daily service), as well as Guam in January (also daily).
Meanwhile, Jin Air is also introducing a fifth Boeing B737-800 aircraft with 180 Economy seats in October to facilitate its network expansion.
