Emirates airline’s Business Rewards loyalty programme aimed at small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is offering bonus points for companies activating new accounts.
New accounts will automatically be credited with 5,000 bonus miles if the first flight is taken before September 30.
Business Rewards, which is celebrating its first anniversary, already has 5,000 registered accounts from firms in 55 countries.
Membership of the scheme is open to SMEs that wish to enroll 80 or fewer employees, who must also become individual members of Emirates’ Skywards general loyalty programme.
Passengers then earn individual Skywards points in addition to the company accumulating Business Rewards points.
The scheme allows small companies to control their travel plans and bookings as well as to earn award flights.
Russell Sheldon, senior vice-president network passenger sales development, said: “Business Rewards has been fantastically popular, with cost-conscious companies attracted to the great value and benefits it offers both themselves and their employees.
“Small and medium-sized companies are often the most vulnerable in periods of economic uncertainty and we are delighted to be able to help them keep their costs down – and reward their loyalty to Emirates – with bonus miles.”
Emirates recently launched customised versions for the French and German corporate markets.
