To celebrate its opening, Fairmont Beijing is offering a promotion from July 1 to September 30. The Luxe Manor in Hong Kong is going green by launching a Green Package till July 31 with rates starting from HK$1,450 (US$187) for a one-night stay in a Superior Room, inclusive of complimentary buffet breakfast at Aspasia and complimentary one-day MTR pass among other benefits. Furthermore, in the name of the room guest, five percent of the Green Package Revenue will be donated to Greenpeace China to fight for environmental protection around the world.

A brand extension from the Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve will make its debut on Phulay Bay in Krabi, Thailand in 2009. The new property, owned by Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, will feature 54 one-bedroom villas with modern amenities, four restaurants and a spa, including many facilities and a spa café. The company plans to expand the portfolio of Ritz-Carlton Reserve and locations in the pipeline include Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Turks & Caicos and The United Arab Emirates.
