Hilton Worldwide is to open four properties in Panama City, under the Hilton Hotels, Embassy Suites, Doubletree and Garden Inn brands.
The 351-room Hilton Panama is scheduled to open in 2011, and will be located in Panama City’s financial district. Features will include an outdoor swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, casino, and over 2,000sqm of meeting space. The 27-floor hotel will form part of a 68-floor mixed-use development.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Panama City will also be situated in the financial district of the city, and will include 306 suites, and lesisure facilities including an outdoor pool, spa, fitness centre, and casino. Due to open in 2011, the hotel will take up 21 floors of a 71-floor building, and like the Hilton Panama it will be run under a management agreement with Hilton.
The Doubletree by Hilton Panama City and Hilton Garden Inn Panama properties will be run under franchise agreements. The 213-room Doubletree hotel will open in 2010 after the refurbishment and rebranding of an existing property, located on the crossroads of Via Espana and Avenida Frederico Boyd.
Meanwhile the new-build Hilton Garden Inn Panama will feature 163 rooms, a 24-hour business centre, 160sqm of meeting space, a rooftop heated whirlpool, and the Great American Grill restaurant.
