Cebu Pacific puts up special September rates (updated)

13 May 2009

Cebu Pacific’s new Go Lite promotion is running today until May 15, and applies to both domestic and international routes.

Domestic fares are selling at P299 (US$7), while all international flights, excluding those to Osaka, are selling at P599 (US$13). Domestic tickets include surcharges but international tickets do not.

This sale takes place only between 11am and 2pm and 5pm and 8pm (GMT+8) on the dates mentioned. Tickets booked are valid for travel from September 1 to 30.

Despite the short promotional time frame, the low-cost carrier is assuring customers that more than 100,000 seats are available, with the online booking system capable of accommodating 500,000 concurrent users.

The specials will benefit only passengers travelling without check-in baggage; those with luggage will have to add P200 (US$4).

Bookings can be made at www.cebupacificair.com, via Cebu Pacific’s reservations hotlines at 63 2 70 20 888 (Manila) and 63 32 230 8888 (Cebu) or with a travel agent.

Other airlines also went on the sales offensive today.

until May 15, or until all tickets are sold out. Travel must be done between January 5 and April 30, 2010. For details, visit www.airasia.com
