Flybe adds Gatwick-Dusseldorf route

Low-cost carrier Flybe will commence flights to the German city of Dusseldorf from this June.

The new flights will start on June 22, and will operate three times-daily on weekdays, once-daily on Saturdays, and twice-daily on Sundays.

Flights will depart at 0730 Monday-Saturday, arriving into Dusseldorf at 0955, with a luncthime service departing Sunday-Friday at 1400, arriving at 1625, and an evening service departing Sunday-Friday at 1830, landing in Dusseldorf at 2055. The return legs are all scheduled to leave Dusseldorf 30 minutes after landing, apart from the Sunday evening return service which leaves Germany at 1735.

The new route adds to Flybe’s services to Aberdeen, Newcastle and Newquay from Gatwick, and the carrier has recently opened a dedicated Execitive Lounge at the airport’s South Terminal.
