The Hyatt Regency Toronto On King opened this week, with 394 rooms, 38,000 square feet of meeting space and a 17th floor outdoor pool.
The “On King” suffix refers to the hotel’s location on King Street West in the city’s downtown area, close to attractions such as the Art Gallery of Toronto and the Metro Convention Centre.
All of the hotel’s rooms include 42-inch flatscreen TVs and Hyatt’s signature Grand Beds, with bathrooms featuring massaging shower heads and Portico amenities.
Facilities include restaurant King Street Social Kitchen and Bar, with a show kitchen, two private dining rooms and a screening room, and Regency Club, the hotel’s leisure facilities located on the 17th floor and featuring an outdoor rooftop patio and pool.
The property is the second Hyatt-branded hotel in the city after the Park Hyatt Toronto. To celebrate its opening, the Regency Toronto On King is offering introductory rates of CAD $195 (£110) for stays until April 30, with an upgrade to a “Room with a view” (these rooms are located on the top floors of the hotel, with views of the city or lake) subject to availability.
