Park Plaza Victoria goes smoke-free

24 Jan 2009 by Mark Caswell

Park Plaza Victoria London has extended its no smoking policy to inlude all of its bedrooms and apartments.

The policy came into affect on January 1, and includes all of the hotel’s 287 bedrooms and 12 one and two-bedroom apartments. Says Ramesh Costa, general manager at the property:

“We are committed to maximising the comfort of our guests and staff, and we see the transformation to a fully smokefree hotel as essential in this process.

“Our corporate guests and regular visitors have all been positive in embracing the change. Designated smoking areas for guests and delegates are available outside the hotel, next to the main entrance.”

Park Plaza will open a 1,021-room hotel by Westminster Bridge next year – for a preview of the property click here.
