Dragonair has enhanced check-in services for passengers from Mainland China on its flights departing from Hongkong.
Initially, procedures were streamlined for customers travelling between Shekou, Fuyong, Humen, Macau and Hongkong International Airport (HKIA) on the SkyPier cross boundary ferry. This now applies to those going by land into Hongkong to catch their flights.
Passengers can receive their boarding pass when they use the check in service, operated by SkyLink Passenger Service Company, at Shenzhen International Airport, before hopping on the bus to Hongkong. At HKIA, they only need to drop their luggage at the Dragonair Self Check-in Bag Drop counter. Those with only hand carry items can head directly to immigration.
A Dragonair spokesperson said the new convenience was all about providing “that added convenience for passengers coming to Hongkong from the Mainland.”
