De Vere launches online booking

23 Nov 2008 by Mark Caswell

De Vere Venues has launched a real time online booking system for its meeting, training and conference venues.

The system allows prospective clients to browse De Vere Venues for availability, and is designed to take the hassle out of arranging an event.

Bookings can be made for parties of 25 people or less, Monday to Friday, up to six months in advance. Clients can also check for last-minute availability up to 1.30pm the day before, and have the option to book rooms for a full day or half-day.

Clients can arrange everything in advance online, from the room layout to the snacks provided (Danish pastries, breakfast rolls and freshly squeezed orange juice can all be pre-ordered).

The system has user recognition software, which will, for instance, allow a company’s pre-arranged special rates to be automatically taken into account every time the user logs on.

De Vere currently has 30 venues in operation in the UK, including five in London. West One in Portland Place was recently reopened after severe flooding forced the venue to close a year ago. The property has undergone complete refurbishment and has 24 meeting rooms and 11 computer-based training rooms (see online news November 7).
