Passengers on SriLankan Airlines can now be updated on their flight status through its new SMS Alert facility.
To avail the service, customers should give their mobile phone numbers when booking their tickets. This includes passengers from overseas whose telephones are on roaming.
The airline recently introduced on-line check in.
