Guest Hotels, the collection of London hotels from the founders of buy-to-let hotel brand Guest Invest, has launched its first property in Bayswater.
The hotel is located in Queens Gardens close to Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express, and offers 157 rooms designed by Dream Architects in collaboration with luxury boat builder Pendennis.
Bedrooms have private entrance lobbies and are lined with sustainable hardwood panels which slide away to reveal wardrobe, storage, internet access and minibar. Petit Oiseau restaurant will be overseen by Oliver Peyton, and the hotel itself will host regular photographic exhibitions on five of its six floors. Guests at the hotel will also receive membership of the “Concierge Club”, offering access to selected museums, galleries and exhibitions including the V&A and the Tate.
Nest officially opens on September 1, but is offering introductory rates of £99 night during August. The hotel will be followed by a second property, The Jones (also located in Bayswater close to Queensway and Bayswater underground stations) in late September, and The Chiswell Street Hotel near Moorgate station next summer.
Guest Invest allows investors to buy a room in one of it two London Hotels (Blakes in South Kensington and Guesthouse West in Notting Hill) in return for 50 per cent of the room’s income, and up to 52 night’s free accommodation per year.
