Lufthansa axes Frankfurt-Kuala Lumpur service

Lufthansa is cancelling its Frankfurt-Kuala Lumpur service. The German carrier currently operates the route five-times weekly with an A340-300. On December 26, it wil be reduced to a three-times weekly operation before ending on February 29, reports airlineroute.net. Outbound service LH782 departs Frankfurt at 2210 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrives in Kuala Lumpur at 1725 the next day. Return leg LH783 leaves Kuala Lumpur on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 2315 and lands in Frankfurt at 0545 the next day. Air France cancelled its route between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Kuala Lumpur in October (see news, June 17). lufthansa.com Graham Smith
