Frasers Hospitality has bought four UK hotels through its Malmaison and Hotel du Vin subsidiaries.
The Singapore-based hotels and apartments operator purchased the hotels from Swire Properties Hotels Holdings in a deal worth £36.1 million.

The hotels, which will continue to operate under their existing names until 2016 when individual development plans will be revealed, are Avon Gorge in Bristol, The Magdalen Chapter in Exeter (see news, April 2012), Montpellier Chapter in Cheltenham and Hotel Seattle in Brighton.
The purchase comes after the group acquired Malmaison and Hotel du Vin earlier this year, doubling the company’s hotel stock in Europe to 4,000 guestrooms at a cost of £363 million (see news, June 19).

Frasers’ global portfolio now stands at 136 properties in 78 cities.
