British Airways' pre-order meal service has been extended to another five routes.
The facility allows those travelling in First, Club World and World Traveller Plus to select their meals before travel to guarantee their first choice of main course.
It is now available on flights from London Heathrow to Beirut, Cairo, Baku, Tel Aviv and Amman, as well as on all long-haul flights.
This year, BA introduced six "enhanced" meal option for its long-haul economy passengers (see news, October 19). To read a review of these meals, click here.
Colin Talbot, BA's head of catering, said: "We know how important food is to customers when they fly. It forms a significant part of the service and experience and we want to make sure our customers really enjoy the meals they’re served.
"These two options that we've introduced in the past year allow them to select their meals and look forward to their choice."
