Starwood Preferred Guest members with an American Express card can earn 2,500 bonus Starpoints by using SPG Keyless.
The service, launched last year (see news, November 2014), allows SPG members to skip the front desk and head directly to their rooms.
Members who complete a stay by February 29 and use SPG Keyless to enter their room will be awarded 2,500 bonus points.
This one-time bonus is limited to a single stay, but extends to any participating W, Aloft or Element hotel that supports SPG Keyless.
Interested parties must register their devices before booking their stay and payment must be made by a registered American Express card.
The bonus Starpoints will be credited once guests use the SPG Keyless service to access their rooms.
SPG Keyless is supported by iOS and Android devices, as well as the Apple Watch. It launched in the UK earlier this year (see news, April 24).
