Carlson Rezidor has opened a Radisson Blu hotel in Nairobi.
Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi Upper Hill is located in the city's business district and is 20 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International airport.
The 271 guestrooms start at 33 sqm in size and include 13 suites and one presidential suite with access to the Business Class Lounge.
Food and drink venues include The Chop House, featuring modern African fare and an open kitchen; all-day dining restaurant The Larder, with a menu of local and international dishes; and Al Fresco Pool Bar & Grill.
The Humidor Lobby Bar & Cigar Lounge features an enclosed space for cigar smokers along with classic bar food and drinks.
Facilities include 12 meeting rooms spanning 1,400 sqm, including a 590 sqm ballroom, a spa, sauna, fitness centre, a breakfast buffet, takeaway breakfast for those on the go, express laundry and late checkout (at no extra cost and as late as 1800, depending on availability).
Carlson Rezidor recently announced it will open a Radisson Blu hotel in Moscow in the first quarter of 2017 (see news, October 29).
