Grand Hyatt to debut in Abu Dhabi

The Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl Hyatt will debut its first Grand Hyatt brand in Abu Dhabi next year.

The Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl is scheduled to open in March.

The modern "twisting" glass tower will feature 368 rooms, including 36 luxury suites and eight penthouses, as well as 60 fully-furnished serviced apartments. Rooms range in size from 42 to 66 sqm and suites from 76 to 808 sqm.

The 47-storey property is located in the Ras Al Akhadar neighbourhood with convenient access to the city's business district and a 35-minute drive from the international airport.

It was designed by Dennis Lems Architects Associates with interior décor by MKC Design of London.

The five-star hotel will house eight international dining and drinking venues with cuisine ranging from Japanese to Italian to South American Steak House or all-day buffet. There will be two bars, including a wine bar with wine tasting room, cigar lounge and humidor as well as the Pearl Lounge.

For business travellers, the property offers 13 flexible meeting spaces for smaller scale meetings and events for up to 150 guests, all with private terraces, while two additional boardrooms allow up to 12 guests are also availablel

A 970 sqm ballroom with private reception area, pre-function space, VIP lounge and large outdoor terrace will be available for larger events.

Recreational facilities will include two rooftop outdoor pools with sundecks, a private beach, fitness centre with outdoor terrace, two cinemas and a spa featuring 11 treatment rooms, a Hammam, sauna, steam bath and other beauty and treatment services.

There will be free wifi throughout.
