Cathay Pacific has opened a renovated lounge at Taiwan Taoyuan International airport.
The 1,253 sqm facility, which is located at Level 4 in the Departure Hall of Terminal 1, can seat 245 people, 100 more than the previous lounge could accommodate.

The lounge is open to first and business class passengers. It is the airline's first to feature the Solo Chair, a "spacious seat that has been designed with high partitions on either side to give passengers extra privacy" and has a side table, reading lamp and a coat hook.
Elsewhere, The Bureau contains five workstations with dual operating system iMacs and printers. Free wifi is available throughout the lounge.
Dining options include the airline's signature Noodle Bar and the Food Hall, which serves lighter items including cold cuts. There is also a bar.
Earlier this year, Cathay opened the renovated The Pier First Class Lounge near gate 63 at Hong Kong International airport (see news, June 22) and a new lounge at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport (see news, June 8).
