Lufthansa has cancelled its Dusseldorf-Chicago service next summer, just four months after axeing the route's winter service.
The German carrier had been scheduled to roster an A340-300 six-times weekly between the two cities, from March 27.
But flights LH436/437 will now no longer operate at any time in the next year, reports airlineroute.net.
Lufthansa had previously planned to fly Dusseldorf-Chicago five-times weekly this winter, before cancelling the service a few months ago (see news, June 26).
