Marriott Rewards members can earn up to 5,000 points and save up to 35 per cent when renting a vehicle with Hertz.
The offer is eligible for rentals at participating locations in the US, Canada, Europe, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia and New Zealand until January 31.
Members will receive 2,000 Marriott Rewards points for rentals of between two and four days, and 5,000 points for rentals of five days or longer.
The 35 per cent discount applies to time and mileage charges only and "discounts vary by rental date, location and vehicle type".
To qualify, members must quote their Marriott Rewards number, CDP 154080 and PC# 169680 at the time of reservation. The promo is available online here or by phoning 800 654 2210.
Hertz severed its long-running partnership with Ryanair in the summer (see news, July 2).
