British Airways has expanded its codeshare agreement with Canadian carrier Westjet.
The deal will see BA add its code to nine Westjet domestic services during the upcoming winter season, reports airlineroute.net.
Starting on October 25, these are from Calgary to Regina and Saskatoon; from Toronto to Edmonton, Kelowna, Quebec City, Regina and Saskatoon; and from Vanouver to Kelowna and Victoria.
In separate news, Westjet has announced its summer 2016 schedule to London Gatwick.
On May 6, the airline will launch a five-times weekly service between Calgary and LGW, a daily service between Toronto and LGW, and a six-times weekly service between Vancouver and LGW.
The following day, it will launch a twice-weekly operation between Edmonton and LGW, a daily service between St John's Newfoundland and LGW, and a once-weekly service between Winnipeg and LGW.
Last week, BA announced it will fly its new B787-9 to Abu Dhabi and Muscat from November and to Austin from February (see news, September 8). It also unveiled the interior of its first class cabin on the Dreamliner.
