The Waldorf Hilton, London has undergone a £13.5 million renovation to restore its 1920s Edwardian style.
The luxury property is located in Aldwych, opened in 1908 and is now a Grade II listed building.
Palm Court
The refurbishment programme was completed in phases and overhauled all 298 guestrooms, seven meeting rooms and event spaces including Palm Court, Good Godfrey's Bar, Adelphi Suite and Executive Boardroom.
The latter was originally the gentlemen's smoking room and hotel bar and has now been converted into a "classical" boardoom with traditional fire places.
The hotel's centrepiece Palm Court ballroom has "been brought back to life, including the historic black clock, lanterns, stunning columns, cornicing and balustrades", while Good Godfrey's Bar features a new interior.

Alison Palin, the hotel's general manager, said: "The attention to detail to ensure that the feel and grandeur of the 1920s remains instilled in the iconic hotel has been top priority.
"The Waldorf Hilton has been a stalwart fixture of the West End, providing guests with superb service and elegance, for 107 years. This renovation will ensure that it continues to do so, in true Edwardian style, for many years to come."
Hilton London Euston is currently carrying out an £8 million refurbishment that includes all of the hotel's 150 guestrooms (see news, August 16).
