United Airlines will add a B787-9 on to its daily London Heathrow-Los Angeles service next year.
The Dreamliner, which is configured in three classes with 48 seats in Business First, 88 seats in Economy Plus and 116 seats in United Economy, will join the route on April 6.
Outbound service UA935 departs LHR at 1035 and arrives at LAX at 1350, while return flight UA934 leaves Los Angeles at 1745 and lands in London at 1215 the next day.
The carrier currently flies the B787-8 on two daily flights between Heathrow and Houston.
Bob Schumacher, United's managing director of sales in the UK and Ireland, said: "We are excited to introduce the 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on our non-stop London Heathrow-Los Angeles service.
"This will be our third Dreamliner flying from Heathrow, as we already operate two 787-8s on our Houston route."
United added B787-9 aircraft on to six new routes out of Houston from this summer (see news, May 11).
