British Airways opens Singapore Changi lounge

British Airways has unveiled its new lounge in Singapore's Changi airport. The Terminal 1 facility, which features the centrepiece Concorde Bar and opens this week, is part of the airline's £5 billion investment to improve customer experience. Bar Main lounge area Access will be available to BA First and Club World passengers, Executive Gold and Silver members and Oneworld frequent flyers with Emerald and Sapphire status. The Concorde Bar is exclusive to first class passengers, who will be provided with an exclusive password to access the area. Concorde Bar entrance Concorde Bar interior It features black Nero marble surfaces and European oak flooring, while the bar has "digital panoramic views of the Singapore skyline reflecting the time of the day outside, similar to a rotating restaurant". Facilities in the main lounge include coat check, baggage storage, shower rooms, complimentary wifi, two desktop computers and a wireless printer. There is also a selection of wines and refreshments available at buffet counters and the bar. Its environment is perfectly designed for and tailored around the needs of the modern premium traveller "I am confident that our customers, whether they are travelling on business or going on holiday, will enjoy the privacy, state-of-the-art facilities, and incredible artwork on offer."
