Monarch adds two Israel routes

11 Aug 2015 by GrahamSmith

Monarch Airlines will launch two routes from London Luton to Israel in December.

The carrier will operate a three-times weekly service to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion airport on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays and a once-weekly service to Ovda airport on Thursdays.

Both routes are scheduled to commence on December 3.

Andrew Swaffield, CEO of the Monarch Group, said: "Tel Aviv and Ovda are growing in popularity once more... We are also looking forward to welcoming visitors from Israel to the UK."

Monarch ceased all its remaining charter services this summer and also dropped flights from East Midlands airport (see news, August 2014).
