British Airways will add a third daily service between London Heathrow and Gothenburg this winter.

The carrier will begin flights BA802/803 on October 25, with BA802 departing LHR in the evening and BA803 leaving Gothenburg in the morning.

Outbound service BA802 will depart Heathrow at 1915 and arrive in Gothenburg at 2215, with return service BA803 leaving Gothenburg at 0800 and landing at LHR at 0915, reports airlineroute.net.

BA also operates flights BA790/791 and BA792/793 between the two cities. All three services are operated by A319 aircraft.

Last month, SAS announced it will switch its London Heathrow-Gothenburg service to London Stansted this winter (see news, June 5).

Norwegian, meanwhile, will double its flights between Gothenburg and London Gatwick (see news, July 20).
