Virgin Atlantic will operate a B787-9 Dreamliner to Dubai from July next year.
The British carrier currently flies a daily A330-300 service as VS400/401 between London Heathrow and Dubai.
From July 21, 2016, the airline will replace that aircraft with the B787-9, reports airlineroute.net.
Outbound service VS400 departs LHR at 2200 and arrives in Dubai at 0800 the next day, with return flight VS401 leaving Dubai at 1110 and landing in London at 1555.
Last month, it emerged that Virgin will restore a second daily service between Heathrow and Los Angeles this winter (see news, June 26).
