26 Jun 2015 by GrahamSmith

Virgin Atlantic will restore a second daily service between London Heathrow and Los Angeles this winter.

The carrier will reinstate its VS023/024 flights from October 25, reports airlineroute.net.

Virgin's joint venture partner Delta Air Lines is ending its own LHR-LAX service on October 4.

Outbound flight VS023 will depart Heathrow at 1220 and arrive in Los Angeles at 1550, while return flight VS024 will leave LAX at 2050 and land in London at 1525 the next day.

Yesterday, Virgin Atlantic told Business Traveller that is partnership with Delta is helping passengers access domestic US cities more easily than ever before (see news, June 25).
