Lufthansa will stop flying to Jakarta this winter.
The German carrier launched its Frankfurt-Kuala Lumpur-Jakarta service last summer (see news, November 2013).
From October 25, the airline will operate a five-times weekly A340-300 return service between Frankfurt and Kuala Lumpur only, reports airlineroute.net.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, flight LH782 will depart Frankfurt at 2210 and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 1725 the following day.
On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, return flight LH783 will leave Kuala Lumpur at 0110 and land in Frankfurt at 0740 the same day.
Earliier this month, Garuda Indonesia announced it will halve its non-stop B777-300ER flights linking Jakarta with Europe in July (see news, June 11).
