5 Jun 2015 by GrahamSmith

Emirates has launched a daily non-stop service between Dubai and Bali.

The airline has rostered a B777-300ER aircraft in a two-class configuration on to the route, its 146th global destination, which began on Wednesday.

Outbound service EK398 departs Dubai at 0820 and arrives at Denpasar International airport at 2140; return service EK399 leaves Bali at 2340 and lands in Dubai at 0500 the next day.

Emirates divisional senior vice president Barry Brown said: "There is high interest from across our network for flights to Bali and we are pleased to now be able to serve this demand and contribute to the island's economic and tourism growth.

"We also look forward to connecting passengers from Bali to Dubai, and onward to more than 80 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas via one convenient stop at our world-class hub."

Emirates also operates three non-stop flights daily to Jakarta with a B777 aircraft.

Yesterday, the Gulf carrier announced it has signed a codeshare agreement with France's national railway company SNCF (see news, June 4).
