Plaza Premium Lounge will open a departures lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 4 next month.
The facility will be the first independent lounge in the terminal and is open to all travellers, for a fee, regardless of their airline or class of travel. It opens on June 5.
Access costs from £35 per person for two hours and includes food, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, complimentary wifi and a shower.

There is a kitchen area with a “live cooking staton” and a buffet in the lounge itself offers Asian and European-inspired cuisine. The lounge is also the first in Terminal 4 to offer halal-prepared food, Plaza Premium claims.
Productivity pods are available for those wanting to work, there is a separate bar area, and floor-to-ceiling windows let in natural light.
The company opened an arrivals lounge at Heathrow Terminal 2 near the end of 2014 (see news, December 2014) and a facility in T2’s departures hall earlier in the year (see news, October 2013).
