Etihad Airways has cancelled another daily service to Moscow.
From June 15, the Gulf carrier will operate just one daily flight to the Russian capital, following two cancellations in two months, reports airlineroute.net.
Etihad had planned to add the B787-9 as a third service on its Abu Dhabi-Moscow Domodedovo route from June 1 (see news, July 2014). This upcoming Dreamliner service was axed in February (see news, February 24).
The airline currently operates two daily flights, using A320 and A321 aircraft, to Moscow.
But from June 15, only the A321 will ply the route as EY65 and EY68.
Outbound service EY65 will leave Abu Dhabi at 0235 and arrive in Moscow at 0710, with return service EY68 departing Moscow at 1255 and landing in Abu Dhabi at 1920.
